Valcorba Animal Park

We had such a fun day exploring Valcorba, which is an animal park not too far from Padua. It was one of those lucky days where you had the park almost to yourselves and the animals were quite lively. I have to admit, the lack of liability was a bit head scratching when you saw the lions and leopards with a very thin glass enclosure that had a few large cracks in it. Yikes!  Once I got past that worry - it was thoroughly enjoyable though. It was one of our first "maskless" days outside and the fresh air was wonderful. Such a great time!

a cute little chapel in the park

This little guy was trying to dig his way out...you literally could see the possibility of this happening

A friendly turkey

Pretty crazy how close we got to the animals!

cute little face!

Zebras!

We laughed at this little rest stop. It was very "Disney-esque", yet the structures were very real and authentic - not a facade at all!

We spent a ton of time just watching these lively cats!

The chapel had cobwebs - not used recently - maybe due to covid?

We loved the Giraffe Door - perfectly sized just for them!

Hey little fella!
